Honolulu ranks a lucky seven on the Children’s Health magazine list of the 100 best and worst U.S. cities in which to raise your family.

Children’s Health focuses on health, nutrition and educational guidance for parents of infants and children, and its editors considered 30 factors in preparing the list, including crime and safety, education, economics, housing, cultural attractions and health. The information was gleaned from sources including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the FBI, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and independent experts of various stripes.
