Honolulu Is Nations Safest Major City
In a time when the economy is difficult for many, you would think that crime would increase. Not the case for Honolulu, where the crime rate is down 15%.
In 2007, Honolulu had the lowest crime rate of any U.S. city with a population greater than 500,000. In that year …only 39,810 major offenses were reported, the lowest total since the statistics were first compiled in 1975.
