Here Comes The Big One Elizabeth
As Fred Sanford used to say, “Here it comes Elizabeth! Here comes the big one!” This could be the same for Volcanos National Park, but I doubt it. An update on the volcanic activity on the Big Island shows there are signs of a new eruption area and surfacing on the Big Island. It appears that the flow from Pu’u O’ o vent has been diverted in a different direction underground and the movement of the ground from hundreds of earthquakes over the last few days has created a new surface opening.
