Halona Blow Hole To Have Major Overhaul
The Halona Blow Hole, in Hawaii Kai will have major work done to repair the aging and deteriorating lookout, according to the Honolulu Advertiser. The lower portion of the lookout was closed in 1997 and with the renovations, will once again allow visitors to get closer to the blow hole action. This could cause for some traffic headaches around the construction site. Lets hope it doesn’t hold things up too bad or there will be more people cutting through on Hawaii Kai Drive to Lunalilo Home Rd. during the renovations.
