Hawaii’s jobless rate held steady this past month at 4.5%. The Oahu jobless rate is currently at 3.8%, down from 4.2% in September.

Hawaii’s jobless rate is still well below the national figure, which rose to 6.5 percent in October, up from 6.1 percent in September.
